thickness (t) = 0.5cm, and second moment of cross-sectional area (I)
is 300cm4, elastic modulus (E) is 200,000MPa, and weight is 16kg/m.
Determine the peak deformation and bending stress in the cantilever
due to the El Centro ground motion. Assume that Xi = 2%.
